The Best Car Lending Outlets - Where to Look When You Want To Buy a Car

Monday, December 31st, 2007

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=L._Sampson]L. Sampson Some people dont know that you can get lending for a car outside of a dealership. Not only can you get a car loan from other outlets, but you are probably better to use the dealership as a last resort. There have been too many occasions where people received a bad loan from a dealership then later realized that they could have qualified for a much better loan. Read this article to learn about some of the best car lending outlets: Online Websites and Databases There are many websites on the Internet that serve as borrower research sites. These sites gather some personal information about you and submit your information to several different lenders. The lenders then offer you loans based on the information you provided the initial website. This can be a great way to find the best new car loan. You can browse through the offers you received and compare them to each other. Once youve found the best offer, then youre ready to look for loans in other places. Through Your Personal Bank Sometimes, if you have a good banking relationship with your personal bank, theyll offer you customer loyalty loans. These loans could potentially have much better interest rates and terms than the other companies youve looked into. Since youve already chosen the best deal you found online, compare that offer with the one your bank offers. Choose the better deal and look in another common lending establishment. The Dealership Sometimes dealerships have promotions they use in order to sell cars. These promotions could even be as good as 0% interest for the life of your loan. However, these promotions are usually reserved for borrowers with immaculate credit. If you have great credit, or, even if you dont, find out what type of loan a dealership will offer you. Compare it to the best loan you were offered from both the bank and the Internet. Choose the best of the three, and you will have found the best new car loan you can qualify for. Bodily Injury Settlement

Sunday, December 30th, 2007

By Peter Emerson Back injuries seem to become more common nowadays. However, not all doctors agree on the primary causes of back injuries, as many factors can contribute to it. While heredity is a possible source of some back injuries, external sources play the major role. Back injuries are muscular in nature and are different from spinal cord injury which involves the back bones. Pulls, strains, and chronically aggravated back muscles are some of the causes of back injury. They cause the individual to depend on ointments, heating pads, over-the-counter drugs, and professional medical help. The people in some industries and fields are more exposed to back injuries than others because of the nature of their activities. These include sports and other athletic events, construction jobs, factory work, nursing, and other professions where you have to sit, stand, or bend your body for a long period time. Weightlifting, general fitness, and flexibility also contribute to someone being prone to injury. Force, repetitive body movements, posture, and stress are the most common causes of back injuries. Force involves any kind of heavy lifting, whether as demands of the job or a part of one’s lifestyle. Repetition or repetitive body movements can aggravate injuries and may lead to repetitive stress syndrome. Posture, on another hand, becomes a source of injury for those with office jobs that require them to just slump at their desks and sit in positions that are harmful to their back. Finally, psychological and emotional stress are also considered factors of causing back injury because they add to body tension and tighten up muscles. Aside from personal causes, back and body injury may also be due to outside factors like sports, work-related injuries, automobile accidents, and the like. But, no matter what causes you any bodily injury, particularly if the injury is to your back, do not take it for granted. Seek medical help right away. And if you feel that other people, your work, or the team you are playing for is the one responsible for your injury, seek the help of legal counsel. How to Make Clients Love Your Newsletter

Sunday, December 30th, 2007

By Simon Payn It’s not so difficult to have readers who love what you do — clients and potential clients who look forward to receiving your newsletter every month. Success is down to just one simple rule. Like many rules, this one is very obvious. I frequently speak with people who are thinking of launching a newsletter for their business. Smart move, of course. The conversation always moves on to content. What sort of articles should be in the newsletter? If they own a hair salon, they want more articles about hair; if they are a real estate agent, they want more articles about real estate; if they are a chiropractor, they want more articles about… Well, you get the picture. Now, there’s nothing wrong with having one or two articles about what your business does. After all, it shows your expertise — proves you know what you’re talking about. But don’t overdo it. The problem is this: many business owners think that what they do is interesting and important — and so expect readers to be equally interested in that subject. After all, they do all come to the business to get their hair cut or have their dog vaccinated. The truth is, most of the time, readers aren’t all that interested in what you do. And they’re unlikely to be interested enough to read a whole newsletter on auto repair or home-schooling 12 times a year. They’re interested in all sorts of other things. At the end of the day, your business is merely a means to an end — a way of getting something done they couldn’t do themselves. So instead of writing about what you do, think about the things that are important to your readers.Your newsletter should contain information that addresses your clients’ needs and wants; information that makes their lives easier. That’s how you’ll build a solid relationship with them. They’ll come to trust you as someone who provides them with information that helps them. And it’s why many of the newsletters I produce contain ‘how-to’ information and useful tips and tidbits. People love that sort of stuff. They want to make their lives easier; they want to read intriguing information. You know your clients best. What do they like to do? What do they want to know about? What do they need and want? If your newsletter helps make your readers’ lives better, you’re 80 percent of your way to success. Give A Thought To The Windows In Your Sunroom Enclosure

Saturday, December 29th, 2007

By Andrew Caxton Your home is one of the most important investment you will make in your life. It can also be one of the most expensive investments you’ll make. If you decide that you need more room and would like to add an addition to your home, you have several choices. You can add an additional room built in the same manner as the original architecture of the house, or you can add on a new and elegant sunroom. There are many reasons to choose the sunroom. With a room with walls of glass, you’ll be able to see out unfettered to enjoy every bit of your back garden, your trees, birds and squirrels, or your children busily playing. You won’t have to be concerned with the oppressive heat of the day, unpleasant gusts of wind should the day be a cool one, or the ever-present insects that can spoil the most beautiful of days. Natural sunlight. That’s what you get from a room with walls of glass…you won’t need to bother with the harsh lights of a lightbulb if you don’t feel the need. But you don’t want sunlight to come pouring into the room without hindrance - you’ll find yourself squinting or feeling the need for sunglasses. However, with the proper type of glass, much of the light given off by the sun can be filtered out, so there’ll be no annoying glare to spoil your pleasure of the room. A room with walls of glass need to be insulated just as do walls of wood or brick. Most sunroom companies offer their own trademarked glass - they have engineers who spend their time trying to design the most efficient glass possible. What do you need in glass for a sunroom? You have to consider the R-Value. This measures the thermal resistance of a material, or how easily heat travels through it. The higher the R-Value, the greater the insulation - and the lower your energy cost swill be. An R-Value of 4.0 is suggested for the very best comfort. Give a thought to the percentage of visible light transmitted through the glass. A visible light transmittance below 60 percent is is recommended for that glare-free natural lighting, as I mentioned above And then there’s the heat of the sun. Relative Heat Gain measures the heat gained through a glazing, and, indeed, can be more important to a glass room than the R-Value. You don’t want a room that will be unbearably hot or expensive to keep cool. With a type of glass that doesn’t gain a lot of heat, you’ll ensure that that won’t be the case. In these days, it’s possible to build a sunroom in anything from a few days to a week or so. And although sunrooms are pricey - you simply must not skimp on quality - they can be less expensive than traditional brick and mortar extensions. DIY Sunroom Kits If you’d like to have a sunroom but you don’t want to have to pay a contractor to build it for you, you can always do it yourself. Most manufacturers offer do-it-yourself kits so that the handy home owner can be in charge of its construction from the beginning. You’ll want to carefully gauge your skills and stick-to-it-tiveness if you choose this route. The addition of a sunroom can increase the value of your home, but only if it is built correctly. But if you have the necessary skills, you can indeed do it yourself. The skills needed may vary. If you’re going to build your sunroom onto a pre-existing deck or porch, you won’t need as many skills as you would if you were going to build an entire room from scratch - necessitating the grading and preparation of a concrete slab on which to put the new structure. And if you intend to extend your home’s heating and cooling system into the new room, that calls for another set of skills. Sunroom Indoor Furniture There’s a vast array of furniture for the sunroom. Even though a great deal of harmful sunlight will be blocked out, you’ll still want to go with furniture with removable cushions, so that you can replace any that fade. Wicker is the traditional furniture for the sunroom, but there’s nothing to say you can’t use elegant metals or wood. The addition of green plants and an aquarium or two will certainly add an elegant touch. Most people use their sunroom as a family room, or a place for solitude and reflection. But some people like to experiment and put their kitchen into a sunroom, or their bedroom and even their bathroom. Those are something to think about, but with the complexities of the glass and the designs of the room, you might want to just stick with the tradition uses of a room with walls of glass. Telephones - A History - The Beginnings

Friday, December 28th, 2007

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Michael_Russell]Michael Russell This begins a series of articles on one of the greatest and most important inventions of all time, the telephone. The period was the 1870s. During that time two inventors by the name of Elisha Gray and Alexander Graham Bell both independently laid out the design for devices that could allow people to transmit their speech by electronic means. The two of them rushed their inventions to the patent office, literally within hours of each other. Never before in history had this happened and it hasn’t happened since. It turned out that Bell patented his phone first and was given credit for the invention. Gray and Bell then got into a very famous legal battle over this patent which Bell ultimately won. So right from the beginning, history could have turned out differently. The telegraph, which was already in existence at the time, was a wire based system just like Bell’s telephone. In reality, Bell’s success with the telephone was from his attempts to actually improve the telegraph. The telephone was just an accident from these attempts. When Bell began working with and experimenting with electrical signals, the telegraph had already been in existence for over 30 years and was an established means of communication. And even though, for the time, it was a fairly sophisticated system using dot and dash Morse code, the telegraph was still limited to sending just one message at a time and was very slow. It was Bell’s understanding of sound and of music that made it so that he was able to visualise sending multiple messages over the same wire at the same time. Even though the idea of a multiple telegraph had existed for quite some time, Bell argued that his musical and harmonic idea was the best solution to this problem. He said that different notes could be sent over the telegraph at the same time if they were of different pitch. It wasn’t until 1874, in October of that year, that Bell’s research had gotten to the point where he could tell his future father in law, attorney Gardiner Hubbard, about his idea of the multiple telegraph. Hubbard was against the total control that Western Union telegraph had over the industry and thought that this invention had the potential for breaking up such a powerful monopoly. Because of this, he gave Bell the financial backing that he needed. It was at that time after receiving the money that Bell began work on his multiple telegraph. What he didn’t tell Hubbard was that he and a man by the name of Thomas Watson, an electrician he had hired to help him, were also working on an idea that Bell had come up with that summer. The idea was to create a device that could transmit speech electrically. The reason that Bell didn’t tell Hubbard about this idea was twofold. For one thing, he didn’t want to get him excited about something that quite possibly wouldn’t happen. Also, he didn’t want to risk the possibility of losing backing because he was working on other things besides what they agreed on. So he kept this a secret. In the next part in this series we’ll pick up with Bell’s meeting with the director of the Smithsonian Institute, Joseph Henry. ——————————————————- Michael Russell Your Independent guide to [http://telephone-guides.com/]Telephones ——————————————————- Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Michael_Russell http://EzineArticles.com/?Telephones—A-History—The-Beginnings&id=171143 phentermine free online consultation discount phentermine no prescription buy phentermine pharmacy buy phentermine com

Career Success: Don’t Be Caught With Your Pants Down

Tuesday, December 25th, 2007

By Marcia Zidle Do you want to know how to jump-start your professional career? Or, are you already in the trenches trying to be a high performer and wanting to make a quantum lead to the next stage of your career? Or, because of downsizings or reorganizations, you feel like you are paddling faster and faster but seem to be getting nowhere? Find out how to monitor your changing environment so you wont be caught with your pants down. Visualize your career environment as one huge jigsaw puzzle. It consists of your present job, your company, your industry, your profession, your regional, national and world economy. You may only be aware of certain pieces of the gigantic puzzle. However, those other pieces are also extremely important. They can stop you in your career success tracks or enable you to take advantage of new career opportunities. The following three tactics will help you monitor your changing environment to prevent you from be caught with your pants down. Act As an Information Magnet. Dont be a modern-day Rip Van Winkle. Dont wake up to a world you no longer understand and feel comfortable in. Are you so tied up in everyday life that you fail to see the shifts in your workplace and in the marketplace? Keep your intuitive antennae up and eyes open. Establish an early-warning system. Look for signals everywhere. Tap into the grapevine and be in the know about as much as possible. Become an information junkie. Do you regularly watch CNN, documentaries, and TV magazine programs? Do you regularly scan the Wall Street Journal, or Fortune, or Forbes, or Business Week for the big picture news? Are you hooked onto online or the Internet? As pace of change accelerates, careers will be affected by whats happening inside and outside your workplace. Dont find yourself in an information vacuum. Stay in tune with the changing workplace. Realize that information is power and it is absolutely necessary for career survival. Scan the Changing Landscape. Imagine your career as steering a ship down an unexplored river. To ensure safe passage, you must be attentive to ever-evolving conditions. These are the powerful trends occurring in society, business, and technology that will be impacting your professional life and career. How do you begin spotting these trends? You must become an amateur futurist. Take the information youve gathered and begin speculating about what youre seeing, hearing, or reading. Whats happening in your company, or the marketplace or the political and legislative arenas? What seems to be just a fad and what seems to be on going occurrence? Get out of your narrow tunnel and start seeing the big picture. Then start thinking strategically. Ask yourself: What are the immediate and the long range influence of these trends? How can this information directly or indirectly affect me, my industry or my profession? How are changes that I see today likely affect my job security tomorrow? Are there any actions I should be taking right now? What can I start doing today to prepare for the next year, or three years, or five years? Discover the trends and what the future holds. Prospect for Opportunities. Change generates hazards as well as gigantic opportunities. The work world rewards those who catch on to whats happening and then position themselves to take advantage of change. To that end, think of yourself as a surfer on the ocean forever looking for a new wave or opportunity to ride. How do you find those new waves? Have a nose for opportunity. For example, the flattening of organizations is really a two-edged sword. It can reduce the chance for promotion, but it also can create opportunities for you to take on responsibilities that you may not have been able to when positions were more narrowly defined. In times of rapid change, there are always critical things that may fall through the crack. So start looking for some problem areas. Do you have a way to fix it? Change constantly creates potential ways for you to shine, show your stuff, and leverage your career. Discover the golden nuggets of change. Be on the look out for career opportunity seeds all over your work environment. Then decide which are ripe for picking. Do not merely muddle through workplace change as a casualty of its twists and turns. Rather be ready for change, spot the opportunities, and make maximum use of them. Spa Treatments, Facials, Natural Facials, and Spa Therapy are Great Ways to Relax Before your Weddin

Monday, December 24th, 2007

By Ken Bissonette Brides, prepare for your Wedding Day by having a facial about a week before. This will give your skin a chance to breathe and clear of any impurities. You could have the facial at a spa or salon, or choose to give yourself a home facial, for example, using cucumber slices or whisked egg white. Steam your face with water, and than splash with cool water to feel refreshed. There are many other natural home facials you could do yourself. Whatever you choose, your skin will be looking great for your big day. Spa treatments, facials, natural facials, and spa therapy are great ways to relax before your wedding day. When choosing make up for your day, for that more natural look wear a couple of light dustings of powder instead of foundation which can look heavier. If your eyes and hair are light in color choose an ivory foundation, golden pink blush, pastel colors for your eye shadow and pink or red tones for lipstick. Job Scam Targets Internet Users Who Want to Work at Home

Saturday, December 22nd, 2007

By Doralynn Kennedy I’ve been working from home since December 2004. My daily quest is finding and applying for real work at home jobs. My latest find is one that everyone needs to be aware of — but not because it’s such a great job, but because it’s such a terrible scam. This beauty was listed at a reputable job site. A job site that I think everyone has heard of, but one that I will refrain from mentioning by name. The job was for a Shipping Manager, and the description was very impressive. I applied for it, and before I could even get off the website, I already had an e-mail telling me I had been hired. My duties would consist of receiving packages at my house, warehousing them briefly, and then mailing them overseas. I was told I would be receiving cameras and PDA’s. All of my packages would be shipped to Kryzykstan. I would be paid $25, via Western Union, for each package I received. I would receive 25 to 30 packages per week, and I would be paid weekly. I immediately began checking them out. I looked at Whois. I called the BBB. I e-mailed the job site that listed it, and they had no complaints on the company. I called my local police and the FBI. I looked at all the online scam sites. I called my local television station — which runs a weekly feature on scams. I could find nothing negative on this company. Against my better judgment, I decided to accept the job and sent them a copy of my driver’s license. About a week later, I received my first package. They told me not to open the package, but I was not about to send something to Kyrzykstan (or anywhere else for that matter) without knowing exactly what I was mailing. Turns out it was a digital camera. It was exactly what they had said it would be. There was an invoice and everything. I could see that it had been shipped directly from the maufacturer. That set my mind at ease. The next day I received my second package. It was another digital camera. Once again, it was exactly what they said it would be. I e-mailed the company that had hired me and told them I had received both of my test packages. They said they would send me shipping instructions the following day. I spent the rest of that day learning about the mailing restrictions involved in sending packages to Kyrzykstan. That evening, something occurred to me. What if these cameras had been purchased with stolen credit cards? I took the invoices out. One of them listed the name of the individual who was to be billed. I called him on the phone and told him who I was. I asked him if he had ordered a digital camera and arranged for third party shipping to Kyrzykstan? He had no idea what I was talking about! Turns out he had been a victim of identity theft. My next call was to the police. They were nice but of no help. Two officers were sent out to take my report. The officer in charge told me he had no evidence of a crime! Which was stunning to me. He told me mistakes were made on invoices everyday. He said it sounded suspicious, but that was all. I ended up not filing a report — just so the cameras wouldn’t end up collecting dust in an evidence room. The next day I called about the second camera. It was the same story. The camera had been purchased fraudulently. I called my local FBI. They didn’t return my call. I called the FBI office in Denver. They told me that the individuals who were trying to get me to mail them the cameras were the ones who had used stolen credit cards to obtain them. He said that once they received them, they would sell them. Another thing he told me was to report this to the credit unions and my bank. He expects that I’ll be their next victim of identity theft. He seemed knowledgeable about this kind of scam, but had no interest in pursuing it. He also told me that my local FBI would not investigate it either. After hanging up from him, I reported the crime to the Internet Crime Complaint Center of the FBI. http://www.ic3.gov. My next question is, what are the funds from these stolen cameras being used for? Are these individuals in it just for the money? Or do they want the money to fund terrorism or illegal drug trafficking? I doubt that I’ll ever know. Judging by how little action has been taken on this so far, I don’t expect to hear anything from the FBI. Even though this company claims it has over 2000 employees in the United States. If we have 2000 Americans sending stolen goods to Kyrzykstan everyday, what will be the consequences of that? Both for them and for our country? And why don’t the authorities seem to care? If you see something like this, stay away from it. I specialize in helping people find work at home jobs; obviously, this isn’t one that I’ll be recommending to my clients. Oh, and by the way, I mailed the cameras. But I didn’t mail them to Kryzykstan, I mailed them back to their rightful owners. Natural Weight Losss: The Minor Changes That Can Have Huge Affects On Your Future Health

Saturday, December 22nd, 2007

By Michel Landry People always ask me how it is that your grandfather a man over 65 can go to the gym 5 days a week , bike many miles every other day and still do many other physical sports without constant problems ?. Well I asked him. He told me it was a combination of a few things. My grandfather was about 61 years old and he was over weight and was not feeling his best. But after 6 months and some minor changes, he was passing me (his 23 year old grand son) on his bike and I was having problems keeping up. He said he was taking all natural products and that he felt like a kid again. At first I wasnt sure if all the things he was telling me were true. But with research and physical proof, from my grandfathers changing conditions and even others I have talked with and along with research articles I have been reading. We found that there are some natural products that made a huge difference. And when I say huge difference, I mean huge. Physically feeling better and losing weight without help of drugs or medicine from the doctor. But dont forget , some physical fitness is also needed to make these changes happen. But it is made easier with help of some ingridients. One of them is Apple Cider Vinegar. Apple cider vinegar is a solution of acidic acid produced by fermentation of apples. It consists of acid, water, and only relatively small quantities of minerals. Although, it does contain a fair amount of pectin, which has recently been identified as lowering cholesterol and may be the secret behind it is fat burning effects. Cider vinegar also promotes digestion, assimilation and elimination and it neutralizes any toxic substance taken into the body. The use of apple cider vinegar for the relief of arthritic stiffness and as a treatment for sore throats, acne, and other skin problems, high blood pressure, headaches, dandruff, sunburn, and elevated cholesterol levels has been around for ages. There have been claims to the effect that the ancient Egyptians who used apple cider vinegar for weight loss created the apple cider vinegar diet.
